The
Tree House is a stone
and wood bungalow perfectly
set on a hillside
overlooking the sparkling
Caribbean Sea. It offers one
bedroom with a queen size
bed, one full bath, a fully
equipped kitchen and a large
balcony that is uniquely
positioned for those daily
multi colored Caribbean
sunsets. Although ideal for
two people, a queen size
futon is available for an
extra person in the living
area. There is also an
entertainment center that
includes a television,
telephone, dvd/cd player,
radio, wireless internet and
a video library.
The kitchen
includes a gas stove,
refrigerator, microwave,
coffee maker, toaster and
all necessary glasses,
plates and utensils. The
private plunge pool sits
among a lush botanical
garden and is a great place
to cool off from the
tropical heat. There are
lounge chairs, beach chairs
and snorkeling equipment
available as well as a gas
grill. Cynthia, the house
manager/cook, is available
for any requests, concerns
or questions during your
stay.
The Tree House is
located off the road
on the way from
Soufriere to Anse
Chastanet beach. This
area boasts many species of
birds, flowers and fauna and
is abundant with colors and
foliage year round. There
are only a few other villas
on the hillside so at times
it feels like you
have the entire
island to yourself.
In the morning, take a short
hike (approx. 20 mins.) to
the top of the hill and you
will be rewarded with a
spectacular view of the town
of Soufriere, once the
capitol of St.
Lucia. Also from
this viewpoint is
the rainforest,
volcano and the
largest mountain on
St. Lucia, Mt Gimmie.
Back
at the Tree House, take a
cool dip in the private
plunge pool surrounded by
lush tropical plants. Relax
in the afternoon with your
favorite book or beverage as
the sun sets into the
sparkling Caribbean Sea.
Drop banana slices in the
bird bowl and watch over ten
species of birds congregate
for feeding time. From the
balcony, there are amazing
views of the Caribbean Sea,
St. Vincent, the famous
Petit and Gros Pitons and
Anse Chastanet Bay. Later in
the evening, go outside and
gaze up at the sky as it
reveals the universe. Watch
closely as you should be
able to see a shooting star. |
